Then Bryn finds Chase, a human-boy-turned-were locked in a cage in Callum's basement. Through the mental pack bonds, Bryn finds out that Chase was bitten by a Rabid were... the same Rabid that murdered her parents... the same Rabid that Callum said he killed. As the truth is revealed, so are the lies that Bryn believed for years. Now, she can't tell the truth from the lies.
Armed with hate for the destruction of her family, with the pain Chase feels when the Rabid tears through his mind, the need she feels to protect, to survive, Bryn sets out to right the wrongs. She's holding nothing back, and the truth can no longer set her free.
