Top 10 Things That Make Me Pick Up a Book
Tuesday, April 02, 2019Whenever I step into a bookstore, I always return to my favorite sections (the YA section and the clearance section, of course). I peer at all the books on the shelves and a lot of them I've heard of before. With booktube, book blogs, and bookstagram, I hear about new books quite often. However, just because I've heard about them doesn't make me immediately pick them up.
There are certain elements of a book that forces me to read that book. And I usually end up loving the book because of it. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is: Top 10 Things That Make Me Immediately Want to Read A Book:

I love me some books about pirates, too. I just can't resist. Pirates and ninjas and assassins. And if you've got a book with all three, I will break through walls to get my hands on it. xD
ReplyDeleteI've noticed quite a few people saying they enjoy books about books or reading, and I'm definitely in that group, as well. I wonder if it's because it's relatable? I mean, we obviously love books and reading, as readers (duh), so it makes me think we can see ourselves in that setting/those characters and that's why so many seem to enjoy it. Great list!
