Photo A Day (Father) and 30 Day Book (2)

To post every day of the month, I found this awesome activity at Fat Mum Slim and decided to try it.

I will be posting my photo that I capture every day, but WITH A CATCH.  Since there are several planned giveaways for that month, I am offering you a chance to get some extra entries.  All you have to do is find the hidden object in my pictures.  Every day there will be a book pictured in one of my photos, either hidden or pretty obvious and all you have to do is let me know where the book is (by filling out the form) and you will receive one extra entry in the contest of your choice.  If you don’t want to enter any of the contests in September, you can still join the fun and let me know where the book is.  I have changed a few things: see below.

Father: Since I am currently at college, I do not have any photos of my father around, nor is he here so I can get a picture, so I decided to take a photo of some hay-filled grass.  My dad's a farmer and hay definitely reminds me of him.

Due to the time it takes to hide the books in the pictures (for even obvious ones, yes I have tried), I have decided to change it up yet again.  Why?  Well, because I can. And because I really do not have time to fuss over hiding objects in my pictures.  I have made up my mind to also join yet another challenge, 30 Day Book Challenge from In Between, this one about books (so you won’t think I am abandoning my life-long passion).  This is a site about books, is it not?
I do remember I have offered you extra entries to all the contests this month.  Therefore, if you play along with the challenge too, then you get three extra entry points.  That’s right, three points!

All you have to do to get those extra points is tell me in the comments, what are your least favorite books of all time.

My least favorite books:

The Tortilla Curtain by T.C. Boyle
Why: This book is just so depressing.  I couldn't stand it.  I thought it would get better at the end but the ending is almost as awful.  It was just so sad and everyone seemed to be dying.

Echoes (Fingerprints 1-3) by Melinda Metz
Why: I don't know why I continued the rest of the book, when the first was just boring.  Mystery books are not my thing, I've decided.  However, it did get better, but I'm never going to touch this book again.

What are your least favorite books?

  1. My least favorite book is the Cirque du Freak books by Darren Shan.
Why? Because the main character irked me. I am unable to read any book where I hate the main character.
