All About Location
Tuesday, September 18, 2012It's official; I have failed the Photo A Day Challenge. It's just when classes do not want to be nice to you, they aren't. But I do have a few hours before I have to go back to memorizing speeches and studying for tests. So doing this challenge should be as fun as the other one I tried to do. 30 Day Book Challenge from Jude at In Between, this one is about books!
I do remember I have offered you extra entries to all the contests this month. Therefore, if you play along with the challenge too, then you get three extra entry points. That’s right, three points!
All you have to do to get those extra points is tell me in the comments, what environment do you most enjoy reading in?
Location, location. Everyone puts so much into the location of someplace, that really, I could read anywhere and everywhere I would like. However, I do enjoy certain locations and environments over others, but it DEPENDS ON THE BOOK. That may be weird but it is true. I enjoy a certain location, depending on what book I am reading.
That's right. I enjoy reading in the environment that the book was also set in.
I read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins in the forest.
I read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer in a meadow.
I read Divergent by Veronica Roth in a series of places (on a Ferris Wheel *pictured: Revolution Promo*, in a cafeteria, and more).
I read After Hello by Lisa Mangum while in New York City.
This way it not only allows me to get lost in their world, but I connect much better with the story. This is a great method if you are in a reading slump or cannot get into your current read.
What environment do you enjoy to read in?

I love curling up in my bed or my mushroom chair where I can be warm comfortable and alone lol. Unfortunately I usually only have time to read when I'm on the run, such as waiting for class to start.
ReplyDeleteWhat a novel idea pardon the pun! ^_^
ReplyDeleteAs for me I'm with you I can read almost anything almost anywhere but a select few favorite locations are a big comfy chair or parked outside in the cool fall air.
