Waiting on Wednesday (The Academie)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Every Wednesday participants choose a book that they are "waiting on" or hasn't been released yet. This week I'm waiting for some boarding school madness:

The Academie by Susanne Dunlap

Publication Date: April 10, 2012
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Pages: 320
PreOrder It: Amazon
Eliza Monroe-daughter of the future president of the United States-is devastated when her mother decides to send her to boarding school outside of Paris. But the young American teen is quickly reconciled to the idea when-ooh, la-la!-she discovers who her fellow pupils will be: Hortense de Beauharnais, daughter of Josephine Bonaparte; and Caroline Bonaparte, youngest sister of the famous French general. It doesn't take long for Eliza to figure out that the two French girls are mortal enemies-and that she's about to get caught in the middle of their schemes.

Loosely drawn from history, Eliza Monroe's imagined coming of age provides a scintillating glimpse into the lives, loves, and hopes of three young women during one of the most volatile periods in French history. --Goodreads
First off, this cover is so gorgeous.  I'm so jealous of that necklace and shirt/dress combo.  It is extremely beautiful and doesn't give too much away from the plot.  The plot does sound awesome.  Yeah, a story about Bonaparte's children.  What?  Something I've never heard before, and being an avid fan of the French Revolution and whatnot, I am definitely going to be reading this when I get the chance.  April seems so far away though.  What about you?  Does this book sound like something that you'd love to have on your shelf?  Something that you'd like to read at all?  And what are you waiting on, this fine Wednesday?
