Movie Monday: Warm Bodies

Breaking News!

Well, breaking news to me at least.  Actually, this is quite old news, because I have been waiting for the trailer to come out but nothing has happened yet.  They are working on bringing Warm Bodies by Issac Marion to life on the big screen.  Truthfully, I have not read the book yet but it sounds like it is definitely going to be a great movie.  I will be reading the book before the movie comes to theaters, August 10, 2012.  Wow, I just can't wait for this movie to come out.

R is a young man with an existential crisis--he is a zombie. He shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades, but he craves something more than blood and brains. He can speak just a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. He has no memories, noidentity, and no pulse, but he has dreams.
After experiencing a teenage boy's memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and stragely sweet relationship with the victim's human girlfriend. Julie is a blast of color in the otherwise dreary and gray landscape that surrounds R. His decision to protect her will transform not only R, but his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world.
Scary, funny, and surprisingly poignant, Warm Bodies is about being alive, being dead, and the blurry line in between. --Goodreads

Warm Bodies will be very good!  I have read lots of articles pertaining to the film.  The promo poster was released in August of 2011.  Check it out.  Teresa Palmer, best known for her role in I am Number Four, will be playing Julie.  R will be played by Nicholas Hoult, best known with X-Men: First Class.  I am looking forward to seeing this movie in August.  If the movie is going to be anything like the book trailer then it is going to be a really great movie!
