Cover Discovered (4)

Thursday, March 17, 2011

I know I posted one of these features, not too long ago, but there are more covers releasing as we speak.  This is where I try to take my time and give you all the details on covers that just released.  That's right, they just released and I wanted you guys to be the first to see their faces (well, you know what I mean).  (This just in, the cover for Hades may not be the final cover, after all.  Even though, it's still pretty to look at.)  Just check out this awesome-ness:

Hades by Alexandra Adornetto

Even the love of her boyfriend, Xavier Woods, and her archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, can’t keep the angel Bethany Church from being tricked into a motorcycle ride that ends up in Hell. There, Jake Thorn bargains for Beth’s release back to Earth. But what he asks of her will destroy her, and quite possibly her loved ones as well. Can he be trusted in this wager? And what does Jake have Xavier believing about Beth’s fate that may result in an act of betrayal that will leave Bethany – and readers – wondering if Xav is so good after all? --Amazon
After drooling over Halo's cover for hours, I finally have something else to drool over.  This cover is like a teaser.  The picture seems a bit dark and when I first saw it I closed in the computer screen until I banged my head.  It took me a few seconds to figure out that they were riding on a motorcycle (yes, I am blond).  Still, I am trying to figure out how she can be barefoot on that thing (I mean, I've tried the whole barefoot thing with my bike and it never works out).  All we have to do is wait until August to find out her secret!

Last Breath by Rachel Caine

Publication Date: November 1, 2011
Per order It: Amazon
Series or stand-alone: series, The Morganville Vampires #11

Sadly, there was no information on this one.  That really is a shame, but before you get all sad; they still have graced us with this beautiful cover (which I like).  I love that girl's necklace; it is so cute.  Actually, I love all of this series' covers.  They each have a cover theme, which the last one was green, forth one was yellow-- it's about time they had a blue cover.  Though I did like when the cover was pink, I almost bought pink hair dye, until I thought about the reaction I would get if I came to school with pink hair (I don't think it would go over well).

Overall, today's covers were awesome and I just know these books will be great. (Yes, you caught me judging a book by their cover.)  So, which cover is your favorite?

  1. That's actually not the final Hades cover. Alexandra Ardonetto said the yesterday on Twitter it's just a filler. That the actual one will be released soon.
