Over at Booking Through Thursday's Wordpress, they hold a weekly meme that asks the tough book related questions that bloggers get to answer and therefore, share our views with the world! (Or, you know, just our awesome followers! :)

This week's question is a thought-provoking one:
There’s something wonderful about getting in on the ground floor of an author’s career–about being one of the first people to read and admire them, before they became famous best-sellers.

Which authors have you been lucky enough to discover at the very beginning of their careers?

And, if you’ve never had that chance, which author do you WISH you’d been able to discover at the very beginning?

I've read wonderful debut books, but I love the feel of reading a new book that features old character whose stories you know. Therefore, I wish I could go back in time to the debut of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series. Seeing what her series is now from what it started out as, I would love the chance to go back and pick up one of her books for the first time. To take a chance by buying it without hearing any reviews. To reclaim that feeling you get when you read an amazing book for the first time, the second, the fiftieth. That feeling is why I blog :]

What author do wish you discovered at the beginning?
