from Goodreads:
Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.
But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
Evie can see through glamours.  She works for this top-secret agency called the IPCA.  Something sinister is a foul and when Evie is plagued by weird dreams, that's when things start getting... well, weird.  Not to mention, here's this teenage girl who is stuck in the Center of this agency for her entire life and enter in this hot shapeshifter.  Sparks fly and drama hits but Evie is just about to find out that real life out in the real world is not the same as her favorite TV show drama.

This book was really good!  It was one of the cleanist books I have ever read.  Instead of the young adult novel standards of having at least one curse word in the mix- there was none, to replace that White added "bleep" where any were needed.  That case gave it such a humorous twist that I can't wait until the second just to laugh along with Evie again.

This being a debut novel, I had not had very high hopes for it.  It proved me wrong on the first page where it captured my interest with the crazy chapter titles- the first one being: Oh, Bite Me- and an amazing introduction that left me wanting to read more.

Shall we talk about characters?  Evie became my best friend just reading the first page where a vampire tries to suck the life out of her:

"He pulled his exaggerated white fangs back behind his lips.  "What, imminent death isn't exciting enough for you?"
"Oh, stop pouting.  But, really, the widow's peak?  The pale skin?  The black cape?  Where did you even get that thing, a costume store?"
Plus, here comes the amazing Lend, a shapeshifter.  When I was reading the bookflap, I was under the impression that a shapeshifter was a werewolf.  Just to clear this up, Lend is a shapeshifter.  Not to mention, a gorgeous and hot one.  He can "shift" into anyone he wants as long as they are not terribly short.  The scene that I liked most was when Lend shifted into when of Evie's characters from her TV show.  Imagine meeting a guy who could be any fictional character you have ever read about.  The thought makes me smile.

If you are looking for something fun and humorous to read, this book is the one for you.  Each page is fresh, new, and exciting and will keep you laughing even after the last page.
