Favorite review that you wrote in 2015?

Hello, I Love You by Katie M. Stout --- I really disliked this book so much but wanted to explain my side thoroughly. I’ve never been more passionate about a review—so invested.  The book and my discussion on it hit really close to home.

Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?

Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2015?

I graduated college and since freshman year my blog hasn’t been really popular and during the summer, when I started posting more frequently, I found you guys are still there, waiting for me.  It means a lot to me; thanks for waiting.

Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

College really killed my posting spree.  For four years, this blog has been an on and off again kind of thing because college took up all my time.  This May, I graduated and landed an internship and was introduced the land of unemployment.  It isn’t great but I’m blogging more.  The most challenging thing about that is trying to change my routine from almost never posting to posting regularly again.  It takes me way back; the last time I was posting daily was in high school.

Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog?

Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

Did you know you could by bookish merchandise on the Internet?  Who knew?  After managing a bookish Instagram for my internship this summer, I discovered bookish merchandise sold at stores like Etsy, Society6, and RedBubble. These are so cool; I want to own it all.

Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

One Book You Didn’t Get To In 2015 But Will Be Your Number 1 Priority in 2016?

Welcome to Night Vale by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor --- I vowed that I was going to read it in October, the perfect time to read it. And I didn’t get to it.  After putting it off for the rest of the year, it will definitely be devoured in 2016, preferably in October.

Let’s beat 2015’s reading challenge of 50 books!

A 2016 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone:

The Heir and the Spare by Emily Albright --- Despite the story being too short, it was still a cute debut that would tickle any reader’s toes.  The Heir and the Spare is a fast read, a bit predictable but a whole lot of fun.

Happy New Year and Happy Reading!

  2. So glad you enjoyed Red Queen! I haven't read it, but I'm going to read it before Glass Sword is released. The Heir and the Spare sounds really adorable, I was pretty upset when my earc request was denied xD Anyway, hope you have a great year in 2016!
