It's Tuesday but I still wanted to tell you about some great movie news.  I was on vacation last weekend so I didn't have much time to post. 

On to the news: 

I was reading something on Variety.com and I came across something interesting.  Barry Lyga happens to be one of my favorite authors and I was so thrilled after I read the news.  Lyga's novel (that hasn't even released yet), I Hunt Killers, will sometime become a TV series.  I Hunt Killers doesn't come out until April 2012, so I was totally blown away how they are already thinking about the series already.  Check out what the book will be about:

The dark thriller, described as Dexter meets The Silence of the Lambs for teens, tells of a boy who uses his killer instinct, inherited from his serial killer father, to help solve a series of murders. --Goodreads

Sounds interesting and great for a TV series.  So Warner Bros. TV has taken the chance to make a show out of this book.  What do you think?  Joel Silver will be the producer, other casting has not been announced.  Silver is most famous for producing movies like the Matrix, Speed Racer, and Sherlock Holmes.  Silver seems to be a great start for the series and I can't wait until I hear more about it.  If you want to check out more about the series, go HERE.
