This is the 15th book in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series. Just to give you an idea of how addicted I am to the series, this book was waiting for me on the kitchen table when I got home at 3:15. By dinner at 6:30, I was halfway though my second reading.

For anyone who has not read this series, it is one of the best paranormal romance action series I've come across in years of reading. Kenyon has managed to create an entirely new world out based in present-day New Orleans.

This particular book focuses on Devereaux Peltier, a bear Were-Hunter, and Samia Savage, an Amazonian Dark-Hunter. The opening poem to the book jacket summary, "In the heart and in the soul, evil takes its wicked toll. When the moonlight shines like slowing blood, over the earth, the Daimons will flood" had me hooked.

I highly suggest this book for Kenyon fans, and if you haven't tried a Kenyon novel, I suggest you go find the first book in the series, Night Pleasures, the story of Kyrian Hunter and Amanda Devereaux.
